Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) &Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

  • If your loved one cannot pass a day without assistance, give us a call. we can help your loved one staying homes as long as possible by providing him/her the assistance with the Basic Activities of Daily Living” (BADLs).

Medication Management

  • Medication administration is one of the most critical aspects of a patient’s recovery. Our Registered Nurse will educate our patients to make sure they are taking the right medicine and the right dosage, at the right time, and according to the physician’s orders. This includes:
  • Preparing the medication for the client.
  • visiting the client every 6 weeks according to the State regulation
  • Communicate all pertinent information regarding medication administration
  • Setting up reminders to keep patients on track
  • Supervising the LPNs and the CMTs who will administer the medication as ordered by the physician.

PEDIATRIC CARE

At Myrvick Care, we are committed to your child’s well-being. Children do well when they feel secure; therefore, our goal is to create a safe care environment for your children.

Pediatric Services

Infant (3 years old and older)

  • Maintains safe environment
  • Ensures safe nutrition
  • Uses age appropriate equipment
  • Talks to the child in language that the child can understand.

Companion Care

  • Friendly & Support  Conversation
  • Plan, and Encourage Social Activities prepare,
  • Meals/Snack Preparation
  • Shopping
  • Doctor’s Appointments
  • Light housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, and making beds
  • Washing and ironing clothes
  • Read, talk to them, and play cards or other games
  • Social events, such as dinners and parties
  • Plan trips and outings as well as travel with the patient and their family

A minimum of 2 to 4 hours of care per visit and a minimum of 2 days per week are required to begin hourly care services. The Client can change the hours of services any time after the initial start-up, or as often, there is need for it.  If there is any change the care will continue regardless. Myrvick Care will make sure there is available substitute caregivers to provide services.
